Welcome to a magical fairytale weekend in Odense

KFS is a Christian Student Organization, and we want to invite International Students from all over Denmark to a weekend in Odense, for fellowship, sightseeing and hygge.

Odense is the hometown of the famous fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen, and we will visit some of the historical sights and the Hans Christian Andersen Museum.

This weekend will be an opportunity to meet other students and have fellowship around meals and devotions.

FRIDAY
4.30 pm: Drop in and food preparation
6.00 pm: Dinner
19.30 pm: Devotion, hygge and board games

SATERDAY

8.30 am: Breakfast
9.30 am: Morning devotion
10.30 am: City walk in the footsteps of H. C. Andersen.
12.30 am: Lunch
14.00 am: H.C. Andersen Museum (https://hcandersenshus.dk/en/)
18.00 pm: Dinner
19.30 pm Fairytale night

SUNDAY
8.30 am: Breakfast
9.15 am: Cleaning up
10.20 am: Leaving for Church (walking 2,4 km)
11.00 am: Church service in Odense Vineyard
12.30 am: lunch

Everything will be in walking distance from the train station in Odense.

Please bring:
- Sleeping pad, sleeping bag - We will be sleeping in a building owned by a Church Organisation, please write us, if you don’t have any
- towel and toiletries
- Good walking shoes
- Clothes for the weather

Cost: 300 kroner (includes entrance fee to the H.C. Andersen Museum)
